Riverman was founded in 1989 by both David Mclean and Alex Weston as a Concert Promotion company who through the years has promoted some of the most well respected names in music. Riverman have also created and promoted various music events such as 120 minutes (MTV), Metal Hammer Week, MTV 5Night Stand, MTV Brand:New Week which has added to their success in the promotions world.

Riverman Bangkok created, booked the acts and co-ordinated the BANGKOK100 ROCK FESTIVAL in February 2006, including Oasis, Franz Ferdinand, Ian Brown, Placebo, Snow Patrol, dEUS, Futureheads and Maximo Park.

In 2006, Riverman promoted a Keane concert in the Impact Arena in Bangkok
